Bacharach Burg-Stahleck castle, prominently above town along the Rhine river.
It is a re-built edifice and renovated early in the 20th century, after destroyed in 1689. More info on the attached Wikipedia page. Reading this page, provide much about the history enfolded in this castle, ongoing already some 900 years in Germany.
