Photographer's Note

Within this sight, there used to be a bridge, and there used to be two rows of high old trees. One row has disappeared, including parts of the street leading along the river.

But there is a new bailey bridge. If it were not, I would not have reached my POV.

This would have been the very weather for hundreds of tourists to roam the streets. Some of them still come and bring their coffee with them. Uphill in the vineyards you find heavy hiking traffic, and some of the winemakers have built wine booths for them, as every guest is necessary and welcome.
Ahr railway line as the usual means of transportation for the more or less alcoholized is no more available.
