Peter Saul: Quack, Quack, Trump

In general, I post pictures of art in connection with the museum visitors. For the main post of today I make an exception. The painting is part of The American Dream exhibition in Emden (Germany) and Assen (Netherland). Because it is painted after 1965 it was exposed in the Kunsthalle Emden.
The picture is a powerful response of the artist to political situation in the USA.
“Quack, Quack, Trump” is painted in 2017 by Peter Saul (born August 16, 1934) and is part of the series “Peter Paul: Fake News”
When I took the picture, I found nobody in the position to participate in composition.

To find some balance in this presentation, you find in workshop One a portrait of Hillary Clinton, painted by Karl Haendel , (born 1976, New York, NY). Here I found a lady in front of the artwork studying her face.

Workshop Two completes this series with a picture of the entrance of the exhibition in the “Kunsthalle Emden”

I add the dark frame to the picture to give the posts a screen format of 1920x1080 pixels
The idea is that, if you use the links in the text, you have a full screen image of the picture with the photo in the centre of a dark screen.
This works with the browsers and screens I use, but I’m not sure that everybody will have the same result.
