Photographer's Note

I lived in Limburg from 1981 till 1985, and though I moved away for very positive reasons, I still somehow miss this city with its crooked streets full of half-timbered houses. And there is the fine cathedral, visible from any side and once upon a time depicted on the German 1000 DM banknotes.

The usual cathedral perspective is from old Lahn bridge, while some also chose a rear view from Lahn riverside.
This here was taken through a narrow slit on top of a multi-storey car park.

The gap in the background leads down to Lahn river, but shows the two important bridges: the higher one is autobahn bridge of A3 Cologne-Frankfurt autobahn, the blue and lower one bears the ICE high speed railway line from Cologne to Frankfurt.
