Hello Diane:
A typical German house, with all the decorations on the façade, and always very clean and tidy. I think I recognize the sign of a perfumery.
It seems that the picture is framed by a house to each side of the picture that you cropped out. Perheps these houses were uninteresting. But what about the street level? People walking by?
