Photographer's Note

Dockland - Hamburg harbour.
I recently visited Hamburg after 25 years and I have to say, I didn't recognize it one bit :)
I lived 6 months in this town in 1989 and the only place I could remember was the Binnenalster and its arcades. All the rest was a blur...
To my partial justification I can say that the majority of the new buildings, mostly what makes Hafencity today, didn't exist back then.
Here we are in Altona, along the Elbe, where this geometric building attracts many visitors. From the top you have a fantastic view of the harbour and river. And once you're done enjoying the view, you can go back to the center by taking one of the many ferries that go up and down the Elbe - or walk for a few minutes along the river where you can have great sushi and sashimi at Henssler & Henssler, which is what I did :)
