Snow Path, a photo from Bayern, West

Photographer's Note

Remember this one???
This picture was taken at the same place like the old one (though from a differnet poinf of view) but now there is snow instead of a green meaddow.This is like places change after 5 month.......Hardly cognizable again!?!

I hope you like it and can give me some good hints,

I don't think I would be able to think of any hints for this photo, I like it a lot as it is. the path nicely leads they eye into the shot and towards the distinctive silhouette of the tree, the details are sharp, the show is white and the shadows blue :) nothing to add, great shot.

Olá Jonas, nice work giving us the two situations for comparison. It's amazing the contrast bettween the two seasons, remembering us how important the weather and forces of nature are in the environment we live in. This one is also very good, with a perfect exposure of the white snow - I can almost feel the fresh powder near my nose...Nice graphism from the sticks leading the eyes through the image.

Great DOF. The nearest post is sharp as is the BG. The path creates a strong leading line. Nicely done.

elle est magnifique cette carte postale hivernale, ce petit chemin ennaigé qu'on aurait plaisir à arpenter même en ayant froid.
Il nous mêne droit vers les bâtisses et guide notre oeil vers l'arrière plan très profond.

Hallo Jonas,
The details are sharp throughout the picture, the snow is excellent and you ask for hints.
This one is good as it is - but you could try "landscape" instead of "portrait" and then capture the whole of the width of the path and place it on the 2/3 vertical line at the right hand side of the picture. In order to do that you have to have another POV and I don't know if that is possible here - for me it feels enclosed this way and I always end up liking "landscape" better.
Hope you understand my explanation.

I saw my ws on your cow and I thought I can visit your gallery to see if maybe there is some ox waiting for me?:))
These last couple of shots of yours are amazing, lovely and peaceful winter landscapes, the snow is so white and natural and I've seen lots of pics where snow looks rather grey than white. I've noticed that u've taken this pic on my birthday:)
