Regensburg, also Ratisbon, Latin: Ratisbona, Czech: Řezno, originally Castra Regina, meaning Fortresses on the Regen river) is a city in Bavaria, Germany, located at the confluence of the Danube and Regen rivers, at the northernmost bend in the Danube. To the east lies the Bavarian Forest. Regensburg is the capital of the Bavarian administrative region Upper Palatinate. The large medieval center of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

a wonderfull shot of all these ancient rooftops and towers. and being the only major city in germany to excape destruction in world war two, it is unfortunately also a rather unique sight.
the colours are nice and warm too, i can imagine it must have been a beautifull day. the only thing is that this picture seems a bit -i dont't rrally know if this is the right term- grainy. as if it's a scanned photograph from a smallfilm camera. perhaps something ot do with your settings?
