Photographer's Note

Shot for 20 sec, not for 22 as shown in the data.

Just leaving the Olympiaberg, the highest point in the Olympiapark, I saw this tree back in February, but in that opportunity I did not stop to take a picture. This time I did stop, set my tripod, and without thinking too much, shot a picture. My intention was to picture the tree silhouette against the dark-blue sky with as much stars as possible. Because the moon was also shining in that direction, I just shot the picture with it in the frame. A longer exposure without the moon would have registered more stars on the camera sensor, but because of the light of the full moon, I just shot for 20 seconds; otherwise the sky would have been overexposed --as the moon is.

The purple colour in the upper left corner is an internal reflection in the lens coming from the light of the moon. About the stars, well, I can't really tell to which constellation they belong. But I'll try later.

I applied USM (20/50/0) after resizing in PS.
