Photographer's Note

A moray shot at Sea Life Munich.
When I first saw it I thought "Wow, this is great, I have to quickly shoot it before its gone". But then I realised that it seems quite common for morays to hide like this. I saw several of them looking out of hollow stumps or tubes. Anyway, it is still funny I think.

Technically, I had some trouble shooting it. You are not allowed to use a flash at Sea Life (you would get bad reflections anyway...) and I did not have a tripod with me (not ideal anyway as these fish tend to not hold still when photographed ;-)). So I shot at ISO 1600 and corrected the exposure a full stop down to get to 1/25 sec. As it was a bit dark now I did some minor corrections in Photoshop.
