Photographer's Note
Using a street lamp to rest my camera, like those ones shown to the left, I shot this picture of the Ludwigstraße, one of the main streets in Munich leading to the centre of the city.
The 4 second exposure let me capture the cars passing by like trails of light, and also allowed my not to overexpose the sky, which was almost this blue. The picture is tilted because the lamp post was not level.
The Library of the State of Bavaria (Bayerische Staatsbibliothek) is the building occupying the most part of the picture at the other side of the street. To its left, the two towers belong to the Ludwig Church (Ludwigskirche), some 200m from where I was.
Far away, at the end of the street, the Sigestor can be seen, if inspected carefully.

Hello Jurgen,
A well improvised technique with a good result and fine contrasts between the golden, red and blue colours.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Jurgen
I really like the perspective here, we tend to make our photo's straight for the eye, however I think that the camera tilt really works well with this composition. Lovely sharp details in the buildings and the star effect of the street lights with the 4 sec exposure is wonderful, the colour of the sky is awesome. There are a couple of spots to the left which you could correct with pp, however this is minor. TFS
Cheers
Jude
