Photographer's Note

A more total version of what I published yesterday:

Wendelstein 1838 m on the brink of the Bavarian Alps is a fine watching post for all directions. In this case, some view towards NNE is included, showing Lake Simssee and a short part of Inn river in the vicinity of Rosenheim.
The mountain's top is accessible either by cable car from Bayrischzell (southwest of summit), by cogwheel train from Brannenburg in Inn valley (east of summit, with a maximum inclination of 237 per mille) - and by climbing, of course.

It is possible to combine these public transportations by a bus which takes you from one ground station to the other.
Taken on film with Canon A1.

@ktanska: There are only four cogwheel railways in Germany: Zugspitze and Wendelstein in the Alps, a short one in Stuttgart and Drachenfels near Bonn / Rhine, for the unexperienced British tourists ... :-)
