Photographer's Note

I admit that I will copy an idea of TE friend Krzysztof Dera (Fis2) in this grey winter time and publish some photos I took one year ago inside Auto- und Uhrenwelt Schramberg, a museum presenting old cars, clocks, watches and model railways.

Never seen this before? Well, I believe that!

What do you do when your nation has lost a war, cars are neither available nor affordable and you are fed up with riding that damned bike and getting soaked everyday?
If you are capable: you invent and manufacture a car yourself!
Grohsbach self-built "Steffi" from 1953, 12 HP, vmax = 90 km/h. Only one of them was built, with a steering working on all four wheels. No problem with small parking lots, much light, entrance from above, drive with dry head and feet, no passive safety, and a collision meant severe injuries or even death for the reckless driver.

Please also take notice of the self-built scooter and the destinations reached on those tiny wheels!
