Photographer's Note
Richard opened a new Theme yesterday,>>My earliest shot.
So this is my contribution.Shot was taken with a Canonet 28 in 1977 (when I was 14 years old)
Itīs a typicall Farmhouse in the region called "Blackforest"
Not a very good one but truly the earliest pic I could find.

hallo hermann, i like the idea about digging in the old stuff and posting early works; not only can we see the progress we have made but also how the technic has forwarded; nice contribution to the series (surely there is no point to comment on the technical side of post processing etc.)

As Jerzy says, interesting to see these things, and I agree an interesting contribution to the series. You clearly had an eye for tight framing back then. For this one, I think a crop of the person on the right would be a legit thing to do. Thanks for your contribution. BTW, I was also 14 when I took my entry to this theme, though I'd been borrowing a camera for a year before buying my first.

Hi Hermann, lovely to see you add to this new theme and go back in time. In this pic I see already see (or project ;-) some things that already hint to to a evolving photogr eye: the diagonal angle for the dynamics, the inclusion of the tree for depth.
As Jerzy says, the tech is no issue, allthough it's certainly not bad with the relatively fine rendering of details and the good saturation.
Thanx for sharing this!

Hi Hermann,
A pity for me but I very far must return, but I will remain with photograph of now. For 14 years old it's a very nice picture with very details and good perspective. The colours for a scanned image are very nice too.
Thanks Hermann,
John.

When I see this picture Hermann it toutches me very much! I miss this life, in nature, in a cabin in the mountains! When I was in Chile it was like this aswell, so beautifull Hermann! (There are many German People living in the South of Chile...)... Here we see Germany, so close and it all seems so far away... Very nice!! Greetings, Ramon

Very classic shot (one of the first :)) ) and good architecture, good interesting local architecture.
