Photographer's Note

Kapellenkirche (literally: the Chapel's Church) at Rottweil is the replacement structure on the site of a chapel devoted to St. Mary. Construction began in the early 14th century.
Her tower, measuring 70 m, is an outstanding example of late gothic style in Baden-Württemberg and has been listed as an edifice of national cultural importance. It is also the landmark of Rottweil, a town which goes back in her history to Roman times as Arae Flaviae, founded in 73 A.D. and therefore the oldest city of Baden-Württemberg.
