Photographer's Note

Sunset over Albtal in Southern Germany. The River Alb islocated in the Southern Black Forest, arising from two headwaters, the Menzenschwander Alb and Bernauer Alb on the southern slope of the Feldberg mountain range and flows in a southerly direction.

It ends after 43 km at a confluence with the High Rhine at small town of Albbruck.

Though its way to Rhine River the river forces its way through the more canyon-like passages and blocked sections known as the Teufelsküche ("Devil's Kitchen"), the famous Albtal.

Just for information, there is an another river named Alb in Northern Black Forest.
