Photographer's Note

Bautzen is a picturesque city in Saxony, in eastern Germany. Its population is 40,000. The city lies on the River Spree, on hilltops.
Bautzen is called the city of 2 languages, 17 towers and 1,000 years of history.
The first traces of settlements date back to the 5th century, and it was first mentioned in documents from 1002, hence the 1000 years of history.
The city was founded by the tribe of the Sorbs and still live here side by side Sorbs and Germans, there are two official languages and all the names of shops, streets and offices are written in two languages: German and Sorbian.
I did not count the towers, but several towers you can see in the pictures taken from the Peace Bridge on the River Spree.
I have found only four or five photos of Bautzen on TE.
