Photographer's Note

Houses and buildings of red brick, the atmosphere in the Hanseatic city of lovingly restored old town, splendid churches, in combination with the charm sea port on the Baltic Sea - this is a town belonging to the trade relationship Hanza - Greifswald (polish. hist. Gryfia).

At the mouth of the river Ryck, Greifswalder Bodden Bay is an ancient fishing village Wieck, deserving of special attention, more than a century, completely smooth wooden drawbridge. Moored in the port schooner brig - "Grief", near town is a beach Eldena.

In the heyday of Pomeranian town Gryfia, Wieck performed the functions of the port. Today it is a sleepy streets after which you can take a pleasant walk, sit in a tavern, eat delicious smoked or fried fish and a drink good schnapps.
