Photographer's Note

The structure on the left was West Germany and the building on the right, East Germany. Unfortinately, no one has taken care to restore this building. My wifes relatives use to live in the neighborhood near here. One relative worked in this building shown here as an orphan care giver. This are was so close to the West that my wife had to get special permission to visit her relatives here even though she was from East German too. This are, even though you can't tell from the photo is amazingly beautiful. You can walk along the lake (not seen here) for miles and enjoy an amazing park full of history, nature, and architecture.

Photoshop: If I remember right I first went to channel mixer and dropped the blue channel way down and then increased the red and green channels. I then, dodged and burned follwed by a sepia toning in the saturation comand. Finally, I oversharpended to add to the old look of the photo.
