Photographer's Note

In the famous Pergamon Museum . Restoration of the Processional Way leading to the Ishtar Gate of Babylon. By the side of the Way there were about 120 lions on glazed brick walls. It was constructed in the 6th century BC by during the reign of King Nebuchadrezzar II. During each New Year's celebration statues of the gods were paraded down Processional Way.
Now they are nearly 2600 Years old and need some refreshment.
