Red (and Green)

No reflections today, nor the Fernsehturm, but just a simple photo of the tower of the Rotes Rathaus (Red Town Hall) in Berlin. What appealed to me here was the contrast with the green traffic light in the foreground. The photo was taken from quite a distance, as I was still standing near the Berlin Cathedral.

The Rotes Rathaus is home to the Regierender Bürgermeister (governing mayor) of Berlin and the Berlin Senate. It was built in the 1860s and designed by Hermann Friedrich Waesemann in Renaissance Revival style.

I added a photo of the entire front façade as a WS, which also includes the Neptunbrunnen (Neptune Fountain) located in the middle of the square in front of the town hall (
