View from the garden.

The Schloss Charlottenburg, Berlin’s largest palace was built in 1699 by Elector Friederich II so that his wife, Sophie Charlotte, could use it as a summer home. It is a baroque-style palace with an impressive garden surrounding it

Visitors to this attraction also enjoy its Old Palace, which consists of royal apartments, collections of Japanese and Chinese porcelain, silverware chambers and baroque rooms. The new wing of the Schloss Charlottenburg includes furniture that Friederich the Great added to the building./
