Photographer's Note
I took this shot at the Olympic park in Berlin. It shows the architecture of the main stadium. The stadium itself has hosted major sporting events from the 1936 'Nazi' olympic games in to the 2006 football world cup and 2009 world athletic championships (where the current mens 100m record was broken). It is the home of the Hertha Berlin football team.

Hi Scott,
Now here's a blast from the past!! Your picture suddenly popped up as one of my "favourites" and it's great to see you posting pictures here again after more than a year away! I hope that you are well and still enjoying life.
This is a lovely photograph with excellent composition, the curvature of the walkway and of the columns leading the eye perfectly into the distance and off to the left. Despite the harsh lighting, you have coped with the contrasts exceedingly well and we can still see full details in the deepest shadows and also in the brightest parts of the image. An image which works extremely well in black and white with perfect tones and contrasts and excellent details and sharpness.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pictures here!
