Photographer's Note

The Ferris wheel on the Concorde place is a tradition for Christmas, and brings much to the winter illuminations on the Champs Elysées.
It may also be considered as a modern version of Ra, the sun God of the Egyptians, all the more so as the Obelisk plays the role of a sundial, with marks traced on the pavement.
