Photographer's Note

In my series of photograph on Trouville here the headlight of the pier which borders the channel which leads to the port.
The lighting setting sun the headlight, not yet under operation, and emphasizing the green color of the lantern allured me much.
Small recall on the headlights:
The oldest headlight of the world was built on Pharos Island, located in front of the port of Alexandria (Egypt), in 380 before Jesus-Christ. The word headlight comes from the name of l'île of Pharos.
At the top of his tower, 134 m high, one maintained a large fire. It was very known because it formed part of the seven wonders of the world.
It was destroyed in 1302 by an earthquake. Thanks to excavations, one found a few pieces of them.
