Photographer's Note

This castle which is located in the Eure and Loir was destroyed by the English during the 100 year old war.
In the end of the 15th century Florentin Girard de Barenton, new owner of the places, rebuilt a castle in the style of the Middle Ages in the medium of a pond created for this purpose by barring the valley of Foussarde. It remains of these constructions destroyed partly at the 18th century, the old building of the entrance called the donjon, two towers and a gallery. We enter this castle by a bridge whose substructures are still apparent. Architecture is still very military but decorated sculptures which attenuate severity of it.
