Chapter I : Large view, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

Premier chapitre, vue d'ensemble, avec un peu de ciel typiquement parisien, la lumière est un peu moins violente que sur la précédente photo. Ici vous pouvez distinguer plusieurs monuments et hauts lieux parisiens, cf WS pour ça :
1 - Concorde
2 - Invalides
3 - Pont Alexandre 3
4 - Arc de Triomphe

PS : Allez les bleus !!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter one, large view over Paris, with a typicall parisian sky, light was less harsh as on the previous one. You can go on the WS to see 4 monuments and famous places here on the picture :

3 - Pont Alexandre 3

Génial ton ptit jeu "Saurez-vous retrouver les monuments parisiens cachés dans ce décor" ;)) Je suis content j'avais tout bon. J'ai quand même mis un moment avant de trouver l'arc de triomphe... Merci pour la solution en ws.
Sinon la photo ? Bah parfaite, pas évident de gérer la lumière avec ces passages nuageux mais tu t'en tire très bien. Bien vu et vivement le chapitre 2 :)

Hi Sebastien - yes that viewpoint is excellent, the light is really good especially the way you have sunlight coming in from the left but the right side (i.e. the north) is darkened by those stormy clouds moving in. The north of the city is bathed in light, the southern side (closer to us) is darkened. Good shot.

Salut Sebastien,

Very nice panorama, I like it more than the one you've uploaded yesterday, because of the sharp difference in the lighting of different parts of the city, with the light/shadow border dividing the frame into two parts. Nice light on the dome of Invalides, and pleasant lighting of the clouds. Good work!

j'attends 20 heures avec impatiente, un petit tour sur TE pour tuer le temps ou je peux admirer une belle vue de Paris et surtout les champs elysée ou les bleus vont defiler apres la victoire:))

Bonsoir, Seb! The very first thing: thank you for your great idea...anyways i'm gonna visit Paris ones and when i see your pics it makes me feel such a temptation. Amazing panorama here, with superb sky. Such a yellowish colour...i remeber your last photos with monuments there you too had great skys...
So, Mister Paris, I'm ready for battle ;)....Italy are my favs...Avanti tutta, Italia! Del Piero - stella!!! Friendship - great thing... Pero Italia - vincitore! :)

C'est vraiment tres beau ces vues aériennes et je suis impressionné par la taille de la tour Montparnasse qui nous transporte vraiment dans un avion.

Bonsoir Sebastien,
Excellent panoramique de Paris, je suppose que prise depuis la Tour Eiffel. J'aime son cadrage, le contraste entre la zone illuminée et la zone en ombre, sa lumière et son ciel réellement splendide avec ces nuages.
On voit la ville avec beaucoup détail, c'est une image très propre et avec beaucoup de qualité.

Sebastien, cette série sur Paris vue d'en haut est superbe. Cette photo me plaît particulièremennt à cause de la lumière qui met bien en valeur les monuments.
