Photographer's Note

For Alain, Peter & Xavier:

I must say that I felt quite inspirated by your images like Alain's, Peter's and Xavier's ones.
I wouldn't have thought that B&W would suit evening mood on the beach sooooo well!
So - and I hope they won't mind - I have tryed the gray modus on one my rather ordinary sunsets from last year on the coast by Pornic.

* Of course, I did not want to imitate any of these fantastic photographers, as I did not even succeed in including people - I still feel very difficult - it's more like an hommage to their talent and as a big THANK YOU for the inspiration they give us day after day...

Amitiés - Viviane

* * Pornic - La boutinardière - A "pêcherie à carrelets" is a hut for fishermen. Built on wooden piles and standing with their feet in the water, it is connected to the cliff by a pontoon. The big square net, the “carrelet”, is suspended with a mast and can be lowered and raised with a counterweight.

Just post-processed a different modus than on the three previous shots in Pornic, posted in colour.
