Photographer's Note

In Alsace and Germany, before Christmas in many towns there are some Chirstmas markets (or "markets of the child Jesus"). They are made of many little wood cabins where local smiths are selling christmas items (presents, decorative items for the chrismas trees, christmas food).
This picture has been taken in Kaysersberg, although a little town, its Christmas market is very famous because of the real tradition and quality of the items to buy.
I was very impressed with this man genuinely looking like Santa to me. He was also very pleasant and smiling.
You can see traditional alsacian clothes on the women of the big lamp at the center of the picture.
