Soon the end of year celebrations and the cities will be adorned with illuminations. An example here with Biarritz. Facing the Atlantic Ocean (agitated) the lights and a pretty red tint that harmonizes with this catch at "blue hour".

Salut Jean,
Quel contraste saisissant entre le bleu du ciel et de la mer et l'éclairage de fête rouge et jaune du bâtiment.
L'eau de mer mousseuse a complètement entouré les gros rochers.
Je suppose que c'est une plage à marée basse.

A fantastic capture at the blue hour. The red from the building's facade, the blue from the sky and the white (well, almost white) from the lights make up the colors of the French flag.

Wonderful warm cold colour contrasts between the red and blue tones. Good sharpness and framing. The solitary person with a backpack in the square animates the scene. Tfs!

Hi Jean,
You had an excellent angle giving view past that balcony towards the sea. Blue hour light makes a strong contrast with the red illumination of the wall. Smaller lights look lovely on this dark season.

Bonjour Jean,
There are some houses in England as well which are very richly decorated for the Christmas. Luckily it is not obligatory so I don't have to do it.
Nice use of the pink lit building to contrast with the excellent blue hour.
