Maison des Tanneurs

Back to the area of Petite France in Strasbourg with a closer look of another famous house in the city, Maison des Tanneurs, which was built in 1572. Tanners, after whom the house is named, produce leather by treating skins and hides of animals. Nowadays, however, the building houses a ‘Winstub’, a type of bar typical of the Alsace region.
