Our Lady

In order to avoid posting many photos in a row of half-timbered houses, here one of the Cathédral Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. I showed a picture from the side earlier, but here’s one of the west front. The cathedral, a mix of Gothic architecture with some Romanesque elements, was built between 1015 and 1439. Its 142 metres tall tower was the tallest structure in the world from 1647 to 1874. Today it is still the sixth-tallest church in the world and the tallest one built entirely in the Middle Ages.
