Bonjour Jean

The butterfly wings of the bivalve mollusc are in very sharp focus, and the yellow tint of the shells and sand contrasts well with the blue sky and water. The shallow dof works well. Tfs!

Thought it was a summer picture, Jean.
Yet, the division from the foreground out to the bay has a distinct clarity of each sand-grain and blured background of the blue water.

Hello Jean,
The third "butterfly" that isn't a butterfly posted here within a few hours. This is the most amusing one, created by nature and well spotted (or maybe placed like this by yourself, but who cares?). It's an amusing photo with a nicely blurred background that reminds me of summer.

How remarkable!
I have seen three imitation butterflies on the one page of TE, today!
Excellent, observation and equally well captured scene, the 'butterfly' sharp against a useful, blurred b/g, and strongly positioned in the frame.

Hello Jean,
Someone must has made this butterfly on 'stand-by' .... ready to take a flight.
Unfortunately, it got stuck in the sand :-)
I love the soft golden colours of the sands with deep blue sea against the clear blue sky b/g.....a glimpse blurry boats sailing by.
Of course, our main star ..... the beautiful sea-shell.
A blink of an eye, it does looks like a pair of tiny 'swim goggles' ready for the warm spring :-)
