Bonjour Jean,
There is a distinct contrast from the naked trees in brown upon the snow-covered slopes, also a fine clear view to the depth of the valley in the direction of the mountains.
Only on a second glance, saw the vehicles up the road that cureve uphill to the village in front.

Merveilleux paysage de montagne d'hiver.
Belle composition avec les maisons à différents niveaux.
Bien que les branches des arbres soient exemptes de neige, il y a encore une couche épaisse au premier plan.

Hello Jean,

This is a spectacular scene of mountains and snow.
The f/g tracks and footprints show the depth of the snow cover, whilst the mountains make a strong backstop for this setting.

Despite the snow, the road looks to be very busy. In fact the road makes a good, thirds separation line.

Wonderful winter mountain landscape.
Beautiful composition with the houses on different levels.
Although the branches of the trees are free of snow, there is still a thick layer in the foreground.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect

Hi Jean
You certainly have plenty of good snow photo opportunities around your corner of France.
And this is another good one looking up the valley. That village is barely visible in the main view and you have to go to the large view to see it properly.

the central part of the compo has a brownish strip that contrast with the upper an lower levels of the compo. nice landscape and photo.

The diagonal snow covered road coming in from the left corner adds good linear perspective, guiding the eye towards the bg stone farmhouse cottage and gap in the mountains. Tfs!
