Photographer's Note
What to do indoor when you are confined? Read a book, look at some CDs, cook, do the homework, take some pictures and at 8PM French time listen to the TV news.
Yesterday at 9PM, it was the Queen's speech (the 2 pictures taken in my bedroom)
Some sentences from " a day in the life" - Beatles
- I read the news today, oh boy
- And though the news was rather sad

Hello Claude,
Two excellent impressions of what to do during confinement, although I must admit I have stopped watching the regular news broadcasts and only check news websites for important updates two or three a day and read as many books as I can in the meantime, when I don't have to work. I really can't see those enlarged viruses floating around the screen anymore in particular. The Queen stands out well and brightly from the darkness.

Hello Claude,
The Queen's message was on all channels at 8.00p.m. I'm surprised that you were able to see it. I know my brother-in-law, who lives in Brittany, has access to English TV, too.
It is well conceived pair of photographs, linking the two shots, symbolically.
There have been some very amusing links on FB, using Beatles songs.
'I Want to Hold Your Hand' became 'I Mustn't Hold Your Hand'.
Keep safe,
Bev :-)

Hello Claude.
"Nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords".
Johnson may be ill but surely he is only in the House of Commons.
Nice combination of TV screens. I hope the re was no immediate connection between the two.

Hello Claude, an interesting presentation with these two shots very relevant to the present time.
The cloudy sky through the window of the TV with the Queen, seems appropriate, 'dark times'.
I like the reference to the songs by the Beatles.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Claude
A good Beatles quote for the times.
A good pair of photos although I don't know anyone here who bothered to watch the Queen's speech.
cheers

Salut Claude,
Bonne idée de présentation originale et bonne gestion des contrastes de luminosité, la reine avait bien choisi sa couleur de robe pour donner de la couleur à ta vue et en signe d'espoir avec ce ton vert

Hi Claude,
This is quite a creative series of photos here.
First one showing an extraordinary guest in your room, while second showing a less friendly visitor on the screen.
We are not so tightly confined in England or in some other countries hence people manage to make some short walks as well.
Excellent idea,
M

Hello Claude,
Excellent documentary on the current news. I think we are all looking at those strange corona shapes daily. Here they are usually a red color. :-) I thought about taking some photos of my television; maybe I still will. I like the contrast of the colorful tv screens, and the dark surroundings. Take good care...
