Aujourd’hui, quatre pays du continent américain arrivent au top 5 en terme de production : les Etats-Unis, le Brésil, le Mexique et l’Argentine. La France est le huitième producteur mondial.
Les plus vieux épis de maïs, datés de 9 000 ans, ont été retrouvés au Mexique actuel. Il s’agit de fossiles qui ne mesuraient guère plus de 2,5 cm de long.

Salut Philippe,
Le maïs est à l'honneur avec cette présentation. On apprécie dans cette photo la belle luminosité bien capturée et aussi le bon rendu de ce ciel avec ces nuages qui moutonnent. Belle prise.

Philippe, wonderful corn field captured at the sunset. The sun is disappearing at the horizon. That field is dense and almost impenetrable. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

Hello Philippe,
This is a well composed photo with 2/3 attractively cloudy sky and 1/3 close view of the corn field. Between them the low sun is very nicely captured. It is artistically and technically a very successful photo, and the note is informative.

Bonjour Philippe,

L'étendue du champ de mais crée de la profondeur. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des épis de mais. Le lever ou coucher de soleil donne de belels couleurs à l'image. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Philippe,

On se sent un petit peu comme dans un film de peur et on se demande si on va entrer dans ce champs de blé d'Inde comme on dit chez nous.Beau coucher de soleil sur un beau ciel nuageux.

A wonderful view over those cornfields with a beautiful and warm sunlight, which was still just visible from underneath the clouds, which also add a nice mood. There is a wonderful golden glow over the green fields.

Bonjour Philippe, the clouds are like a canopy hanging over the land, they look like a layer of cotton wool.
The low sun highlights some of the maize plants giving a warm glow.
It is a beautiful composition.
