Photographer's Note

La sculpture romane s'inscrit dans les données architecturales des édifices. Elle décore les chapiteaux des colonnes et des piliers.. La plupart des tympans des porches des églises sont sculptés y compris les voussures, en dégradé qui encadre le tympan. Les encadrements d'ouvertures (portes et fenêtres) reçoivent un décor sculpté très souvent stylisé.

A fine close-up on the carved art-details upon the pillar, and maybe all around this edifice.
Maybe a wider scope would show more of this decorated building.

Very nice - great lighting and detail. The artist does an awesome job. The weeks it took to make this, it must have been something. Magical. The hands in the middle are scary - long nails - the artwork must be quite old. Very interesting

a fine textured shot with lots of grains and we feel as if we can almost reach out and touch it, feel the stone with our own hands. I appreciate these shots, as its easy to examine the details. good one. cheers

Un gros plan très réussi de ce chapiteau.
Excellente netteté et clarté.
Très bien que vous montriez les plus petits détails du chapiteau. Dans la totalité d'une église ou d'un autre bâtiment parfois nous risquons de ne pas vraiment remarquer.
