Photographer's Note

Ranunculus peniciliatus subspecies fluitans
Perennial herb. The floating leaves are lobed.
The stems are long and strong, floating. The submerged leaves are composed of very long parallel segments up to 6 m long. the
flowers are large 2 to 3 cm in diameter and the petals overlap.
We find these flowers in the Loire and the Loiret river in june June.
