This beautifully restored old mill is reflected in the Sor which crosses the town in the Tarn Soual ...

According to Wikipedia :

" The Sor is a river in southern France flowing in the departments of Tarn and Haute -Garonne. It is a tributary of the left bank Agout , so a sub- tributary of the Garonne by Agout then the Tarn.

Tributary of the Agout the Sor its confluence upstream bridge Vielmur -sur- Agout in the department of Tarn. Sor is a river with a total length of 60.8 kilometers of length1 ; it drains a catchment area of approximately 380 km2 basin. It rises in the town of Arfons near the hamlet of Escudiès , 750 m above sea level in the Black Mountain. Downstream Arfons , Sor receives the waters of the creek and its Aiguebelle bed reaches 5 meters wide. Some sources swell its flow , then it reaches the lake where Cammazes pour streams of Sénadou and Saurette . At the outlet of the dam Cammazes , Sor began its descent towards the plain with a drop of more than 300 m reached in a few kilometers. Deep gash over his massive Black Mountain and waterfalls succeed as cascade Malamort above Durfort . Sor then joined the plain ( where some of its waters are diverted to the Canal du Midi via the channel of the Plain ), its course becomes regular and receives many tributaries flowing down the slopes of the northern slopes of the Montagne Noire. In particular, from upstream to downstream , the Laudot the Avaris , the Melzic the Taurou , Sant and Bernazobre , the latter two being the most powerful . Sor receives the majority of its tributaries plain. However, in summer , irrigation uses these rivers drying up sometimes . Low flow measured Cambounet -sur- Sor is largely undervalued , and we made sure it does not go below 100 liters per second. Finally, Sor and Sant are used to produce drinking water. The flow of Sor is found and cut about 1,400 liters of water per second ( partially offset by a water diversion channel of the Black Mountain ) . Sor remains relatively abundant river , the dam has Cammazes regulate formerly frequent floods , but has a greatly restricted the flow agriculture ... "

Like a yellow box in the middle of a natural setting. Well spotted and a well-executed shot with great contrasts and sharpness. Reflection is my favourite bit, the cyan colours in the sky my least favourite bit in this picture. Great picture, glad to be your neighbour today.

On ne peut pas le louper cet ancien moulin qui devait être plus discret quand il était en service. les reflets sont bien saisis et l'ensemble est très net.

Bonjour Magaly,
Une image simple et très agréable avec beaucoup de relief dans les couleurs et des reflets d'une très belle qualité. Le moulin à lui seul vaut le détour. Egalement beaucoup de douceur dans ce joli tableau. On ressent presque le calme de la rivière. Bel équilibre dans le cadrage et excellente netteté. Le genre de photo que j'aurais aimé faire. Beau travail.

now this is tranquil.
very soothing and it even has a romantic feel to it.

its nice how the mill is protected on each side by the large trees.
the reflection helps to dim the white light in the clouds too.

il soggetto è delizioso per come si posiziona rispetto alle acque che permettoni di raddoppiarne la presenza con uno splendido riflesso.
Ma nella foto sono da notare, oltre al soggetto ed alla composizione anche i colori che spaziano nelle diverse varianti del verde e trovanop magnifico complemento nell'azzurro del cielo e nella facciata variopinta della casa.

Great composition with a fantastic clear, still reflection. Very sharp and clear. Looks like a mirror. The shadow areas of the trees on the right are a little dark but that's ok - they act as a vignette to lead your eye into the centre.

the reflection is brilliant, 100%!
The orange color of the little house makes it to stand out of the picture. Fantastic effect.
Of course the exposition of the clouds was quite challenging. Having a graduate ND filter would be the best solution or HDR.
