Photographer's Note

End of day light on Sainte-Anne cross over Rennes moors in Campénéac in north east of Morbihan. We are here close to Paimpont forest, often said to be Brocéliande forest, the mythic forest of Arthurian legend. According to the legend Brocéliande is said to be the place where many stories occurred with Merlin, Morgan le Fay, some of the Knights of the Round Table, etc...

To find this cross, you have to follow the direction of La Joie - Notre Dame abbey from Campénéac. This monumental granite cross stands on the left on heights over the abbey, in a bewitching scenery of moors with a few granite rocks and a wonderful panorama. Under such a light it was incredibly beautiful !
