The abbaye of Vignogoul, Cistercian, of nuns, 13th 15th centuries, in Pignan. On the list of historic monuments since 1862.

One long history for this abbey, benedictine priory quoted in 1130, which became cistercian in the middle of the 13th century.

PIGNAN is a french municipality, located in the departement of Herault of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 6212 Pignanais in 2007, distributed out of 20.3 km², that is to say 305.7 hab/km².
