Photographer's Note

Halloween will be here soon, but the commercial event has somehow faded away in France, where it hadn't been traditional anyway!
The region of Daoulas in Finistere, France have decided to do something else in this season, to celebrate prosperity.
One of the communes lends its sports complex on a Sunday. They fill it with thousands of pumpkins, marrows, squash etc...etc..., and sell them for the profit of "Save the Children Fund": SEM : "Secours aux Enfants du Monde".
The place is situated about 15 KM south of Brest, in Dirinon, with the most beautiful council sports complex I have ever seen, all surrounded by greenery and woods.
