Photographer's Note

This is a blue hour shot of the Cathedral of Metz. The Cathedral is the principal church of the diocese of Metz and the seat of the bishop.. The cathedral was built from 1220 to 1520 by joining together two older churches. It is situated on the Place d'Armes in the center of the city. With a height of 41 meters its nave is the third highest in France after the Beauvais and Amiens Cathedrals. It has got beautiful stained glass windows and the area of the stained glass is 6,500 square meters.
