Photographer's Note

This is Beynac et Cazenac seen from a cayac on the Dordonge. A day shot from the night silhouette two shots ago. There is a path through the village at the base up to the castle, which is quite a climb but worth it.

In the rock facade, you will find remainders of dwellings carved in the rock.

It pays to float down the Dordogne in cayac for it gives you the possibility to see several sites from an angle otherwise difficult to reach.
