L'Ortie Rouge
This house located in top of the small village of Gometz Châtel was built against the church and had a very particular destiny. Bought by the village in 1826, it sheltered the presbytery until 1921 then will be the post office since 1958.
Left during 17 years, a sculptor, will undertake his restoration in 1976 against the signature of an emphyteutic lease. It will rename its residence " l’Ortie Rouge ". I already posted sights of this architectural curiosity but thanks to the use of the great angle I could remake some views to have a better idea of it.
