Saint-Aubin church, of 12th 15th 16th 19th centuries.
The Gothic church of flamboyant style, preserves of its romanesque past the bell-tower and two openings.

The Saint-Aubin church is quoted for the first time in 1224, and the church is called “Sancti Albini Clausi” at the 14th century. Its prior depends on the Benedictine abbey of "Saint-Jean de Montierneuf" established in Poitiers at the 11th century.
Its Patron saint, Saint-Aubin, was born into 469 near Vannes. Monk close to Guérande, it became bishop of Angers, and died into 550.

SAINT-AUBIN-LE-CLOUD is a French commune, located in the department of Deux-Sèvres in Poitou-Charentes area, populated of 1796 Saint-Aubinois in 1999, distributed out of 42 km², that is to say 43 hab.
