Castle of "Saint-Mesmin-la-Ville" 14th century.
Keep dating from the 15th century, 28 m high.
Medieval fortress with hexagonal walls flanked by five horseshoe towers, two of which combine to form the gatehouse. The castle has retained a number of features of medieval military architecture evidence of change in battle techniques, loopholes for bows, loopholes for crossbows, machicolations, drawbridge.

Interesting shot, kind of down plays the importance of this site, makes it look like it is just another building, one would see anywhere, very nice effect I think. Nice note, do you know what the yello coloration on the bricks of the tower is?

Bonjour Joel,
Bonne journee JY
