Photographer's Note

The castle of Saumur east built on a height which orders the Loire Valley. Built in XIVème century for the dukes of Anjou, it becomes successively residence of the governors of the City, prison, deposit of weapons and ammunition.

Bonjour Xavier,
J'aime bien la lumière et cette belle atmosphère brumeuse que tu as bien saisies et restituées.
En revanche, je pense que la composition aurait gagné si tu avais cadré en ôtant la partie gauche sans beaucoup d'intérêt avec cette montée herbeuse, et surtout si tu avais moins centré horizontalement et verticalement le château.
Mais cela reste une bonne photo bien nette et accompagnée d'une note instructive.

Salut Xavier,
I like the chateaus of the Loire. Your picture shows a very nice one. Unfortunately there is smoke on the left part. In my opinion the picture lacks a bit of contrast. So I have made a little WS to show what I mean.
