4 days in the "Marais Poitevin" (which can be translated into "Poitevin Marshland" [a west Area of France])...
4 days for walking, cruising and discovering in the "Green Venice" (the second name of the place)...
4 days into a humide and green world...

Salut Stéphane,
Un monde humide peut être, mais moi je dirais que c'était un monde vert plutôt que gris. Grâce à ton habille cadrage, on ne rend pas compte que le ciel était tristounet et notre regard se concentre sur cette verdure luxuriante. Un coin que j'aimerais bien découvrir un jour.

Dear Stéphane,
I like the predominance of green in this image. I look forward to more images from this journey, which is a departure from your desert journey: humid, green, abundant in life. What I like most about this shot is the POV, which appears as if you are on a canoe or small boat, sailing down a river, although you are very likely on land? This effect is also caused by the tree on the right, which makes me imagine that you are on the river.

Oh oui c'est vert, c'est vert et c'est vert, le vert dans tous ses etats. Je me rappelle etre alle la dedans en barque, il y avait des ragondins un peu partout! J'attends la suite!

On commence donc la visite du marais poitevin! Belle vue bucolique du petit pont dans la verdure et l'eau.. belles lumière et couleurs... Le beau temps n'était pas au rendez vous mais j aime bien tout ce vert!

Tu as une drole de gamme de gris sut ta photo, sur mon écran, ça rend plutôt vert!!
une petit pont bien placé dans ta composition pour ce début de balade.

Alors, en fait, je me suis toujours dit qu'il faudrait que j y fasse un tour...un jour...mais, je me suis toujours dit aussi que c'était vachement humide et vert et donc...
Ce premier post confirme mes a priori mais en même temps le point de vue est sympa : le pont,les cascades de feuilles, l'eau...tout est réuni pour un univers plutôt romantique...mais en même temps...
J'attends la suite pour voir...

What a contrast to your previous series of sand dunes and the belle dame, Stephane. This here certainly doesn't inspire thoughts about a beautiful women. Yet, you caught the essence of the place and your note just confirms my feelings when I enter this picture. It's a pity that you didn't get better weather conditions, but that overcasted sky probably fits better to the area than a polarized dark blue sky.

Trés jolie dominante verte ici : eau verte, verdure, peinture verte de la rambade de la passerelle. Voilà qui change de certaines de tes dernières photos un peu sombres. Jolis reflets sur l'eau et noramment sous le petit pont.

Hi Stephane, the lush green of the foliage is very pleasing here and the inclusion of the bridge adds a sense of adventure. It must be great to explore this region! A very nice one.
By teh way: I enjoyed your previous one also by the way - the Pyrs look very tough to handle there.

Stéphane bonjour.
Il y a des déconvenues pour un photographe qui parcourt un lieu mythique sans rencontrer la bonne lumière. Pour cette photo tu t'en tires plutôt bien avec très peu de ciel et l'accent mis sur la gamme des verts.

Une image qui retranscrit bien ce monde humide et verdoyant, le petit pont a moitié enfoui dans la verdure a du charme je trouve.

J'ai eu le même problème ici l'année dernière, le temps était tristounet et ce n'était pas simple à photographier dans les conches du marais.

Un ciel malheureusement gris qui est à peine perceptible grâce à ton subtile cadrage et laisse la place à cette belle palette de verts. Jolie composition aquatique. Une très belle région à découvrir et à préserver.

you have done a great job in reflecting the photo of a place where one can find inner peace . although the green and quite area seems very relaxing, the color of the water slightly damages the beautiful nature concept
