La Loire à Vélo
Jour 1 : de Bécon-les-Granits à Gennes (82 km)

Après qu'une grosse pluie d'orage nous a obligé à nous réfugier sous un abribus pour notre pique-nique du midi, nous avons repris la route sous un ciel gris.
A Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire, un pont nous fait passer sur la rive gauche de la Loire. Le temps s'améliore petit à petit et, lorsque nous arrivons dans le joli petit village du Thoureil, je profite des bords de Loire pour faire quelques photos.
Cette église à deux pas du fleuve est dédiée à Saint-Genulf.

Le nom de l'église, de même que son architecture et son beau clocher-porche, ont de quoi susciter la curiosité, et justifient la visite de ce village de bord de Loire ! Le récit de ta balade à vélo est intéressant et démontre qu'il ne faut jamais perdre espoir : après la pluie, vient le beau temps... et ce joli ciel bleu, où les nuages se font discret !

Bonjour Stephane,

Once again a very beautiful photo of the charming old church, I like how the color are very well match to the environment, that makes it seems cozy and inviting. Good perspective the the street and the path leading in. The blue sky with some light clouds make a perfect background the inclusion of the little bit of river suggest the other element in the surrounding. Good shot.

Cette église a un clocher assez inhabituel ! Bon point de vue avec la route qui crée une ligne de perspective. Très bonne netteté.

Good perspective created by the road with the church on the left creating a good focal point. Interesting are the tree trunks which appear devoid of leaves & branches. Well done picture from the small village
